Description
Limpograss is a perennial grass that forms dense mats from creeping rhizomes. The inflorescences are diminutive and inconspicuous. The grass can have a red coloration on blade tips.
Habitat
Alongside permanent streams, swamps, canals, irrigation ditches, flatwoods and other wet areas.
Comments
Planted as a forage for cattle.

- Chemical: Foliar (96 fl oz/ac/year aquatic imazapyr). Imazapyr provides best control 9-12 months after treatment under dry and flooded conditions. However, repeat treatments when dry should include glyphosate (2% glyphosate+ 0.5% imazapyr). [IFAS]
