Rare Species Data Submission
FNAI maintains and continues to build Florida's natural heritage database. Although FNAI staff collect much of the rare species Element Occurrence data, outside data submissions are also an important component. You can submit data using our field report forms below or by contacting us.
For more information on the database see our Tracking List page.
Options for Data Submission:
Preferred:
- Add your iNaturalist observations to the FNAI Tracked Species project so our scientists can access the unobscured coordinates
Other submission forms have now been retired. If you would like to submit in another way please contact FNAI.
Important: if you have multiple occurrences to report, FNAI can accept data in GIS shapefiles or spreadsheets. Please contact FNAI to submit bulk data.
