Description

An annual or perennial grass, up to 1m tall, and capable of rooting at each node. The leaf blades have a distinctive silver-white stripe down the midrib. Ligule is membranous. Produces flowers in the late summer and seeds shortly thereafter.

Habitat

Extremely variable habitats from wet to dry and shaded to full sun
