Range: Florida Keys and coastal areas of Miami-Dade County and Monroe County; irregular strays to Gainesville
Seasonal Occurrence: all year in normal range but most common in May and June

Habitat: tropical hardwood hammocks
Host Plants: capers (Capparis and Drypetes)

The Florida White is rarer than its cousin, the Great Southern White, which is less habitat-restricted. The Florida White also tends to fly in shady rather than sunlit areas.
